You had three candidates to choose from - Flathead, Huron-Manistee or Pike & San Isabel. With an overwhelming 52% of the vote, Pike & San Isabel National Forest in Colorado is the one you felt needed trees the most. And so it shall be!
The University of Central Florida had the most votes, so the forest will be named after their school! And now they can be like, "Yeah, I did that... I built a place where the deer and the antelope play." But don't be jealous, because you helped build that forest too when you bought and sold used textbooks.
